Parking Options

Parking can be found at the following locations:

Parkominium at 231 N. 2nd Street, just north of the Ben Franklin Bridge. Get a validation stamp from the shelf next to the door on the 3rd floor and receive parking for $9 at Parkominium only. Stamp the back of your parking ticket.
Patriot Parking Lot at 304 Race Street
Central Parking System at 218 Arch Street
Holiday Inn Parking Lot at 400 Arch Street
On-street metered parking: Race Street has 3-hour meters.
Metered parking is free after 5pm on First Friday.

Public Transportation

Take the Market-Frankford line to 2nd Street Station (2nd and Market Streets).
SEPTA bus routes 33, 17, 5, and 48 all stop at 2nd and Market. Walk 2 blocks north on 2nd to 139 N. 2nd Street (between Arch & Race)

Driving Directions

Traveling I-95 North (from Delaware or Philadelphia International Airport and points south)
Exit #22 (Central Philadelphia; Independence Hall; Callowhill Street)
Exit 22 is a two-lane exit on the left. As you exit, get into the right lane to follow Independence Hall/Callowhill Street
When coming off the ramp, get into the left lane and make a left onto 4th Street, second light).
Take 4th to Race Street
Turn left and follow Race to 2nd Street – make a right.
You will see The Clay Studio on the left side of the street.

Traveling I-95 South (From Northeast Philadelphia and Trenton)

Exit #22 (Central Philadelphia; Independence Hall; Callowhill Street)
Exit 22 is a two-lane exit on the right. As you exit, get into the right lane to follow Callowhill Street
At the traffic light at the bottom of the ramp, go straight. You are now on 2nd Street. Continue straight under the Bridge and then pass the next traffic light (Race Street).
You will see The Clay Studio on the left side of the street.

From New York or New Jersey (points north and east)

Take Exit 4 off the New Jersey Turnpike.
Follow 73 North to 38 West.
Then take 38 West to 30 West. WATCH CAREFULLY
Follow all signs that say CAMDEN/PHILADELPHIA to the BEN FRANKLIN BRIDGE.
Go over the bridge and stay in the far right lane.
Take the 6th ST. SOUTH/INDEPENDENCE HALL Exit.
At this exit, go ALL THE WAY around to the right.
Keep staying as right as you possibly can, so that you are headed back parallel to the bridge.
This street dead-ends into 4th Street.
Take a right on4th, a left at the first light (Race Street) and a right at the second light (2nd Street).
The Clay Studio is halfway down the block on the left.

From Western Suburbs (I-76 E)

Take Exit # 344, on your left, toward Central Philadelphia – Vine St. Expressway/I-676 E/US 30 E.
Turn right onto the exit for I-676 E/Ben Franklin Bridge. You will not be going over the bridge.
Turn right at the end of the ramp onto 6th Street.
Turn left onto Race (first light) and then right onto 2nd.
The Clay Studio is halfway down the block on the left.
