The Clay Studio’s Legacy Giving Society is named in honor of the Founders.
Bertram Horowitz was a true champion of The Clay Studio. In addition to being a Philadelphia lawyer and insurance professional, he was also a civic activist and community leader. After the devastating fire hit The Clay Studio, the organization nearly ceased to exist. Through his dedication and support, we were able to take stock, reorganize, and chart a path to greater strength. We are proud to name our legacy-giving program after Bertram because he embodies the spirit of service, dedication, and growth.
Consider joining the Bertram Horowitz Legacy Society if you:
-
Care deeply about the impact The Clay Studio has on your own career, your colleagues and friends, children and youth, and the world as a whole;
-
Want to help contemporary ceramic artists – at any level of practice - grow and thrive;
-
Value the incredible work The Clay Studio has accomplished to increase access to the ceramic arts through exhibitions, residencies, and education;
-
Want to grow the work The Clay Studio does to enhance equity, diversity, inclusion, and access.
Members of the Founders Legacy Society are:
-
