Drew Schenck is an artist, designer, and educator. Originally from New Orleans, he received his BFA from Alfred University and studied Industrial Ceramic Design in Jingdezhen, China. He is currently based in Philadelphia as a working and teaching artist. His work is clean and contemporary — he employs simple shapes with a focus on surface and material. As a maker, he has a background in both sculpture and ceramic design. As an educator, he works with a wide variety of communities, including schoolchildren, youth in the juvenile justice system, adults with disabilities, and senior adults.
