Thank you for an incredible Giving Tuesday!
Your generosity helped us raise nearly $20,000, more than doubling our initial goal and surpassing the $10,000 matching challenge. We are deeply grateful for the commitment of everyone who contributed to the success of this day!
Every contribution made on Giving Tuesday helps The Clay Studio build and sustain art programming. Your support is how we turn ideas - like Operation Mud for Veterans or an After-School Clay Club for local elementary students - into reality.
Thank you for your ongoing support of The Clay Studio. Your generosity makes a huge impact.
Operation Mud
Operation Mud is The Clay Studio’s new program uniquely designed to serve our community's veterans. Unlike traditional therapies, this program utilizes art to reduce stress, build self-esteem, and foster self-awareness. Research conducted by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs supports the effectiveness of creative arts therapies in many areas, including overall physical rehabilitation. Your support helps to provide Veterans with a safe, supportive, and creative environment that is crucial to their success and well-being.
Artistic Programs
Throughout the year The Clay Studio host over 20 exhibition free to public! This allows more people to engage with art work with no cost to them and a chance for a range of artists to be introduced to new audiences. TCS also welcomes new resident artists into our community annually, giving them access to the equipment and material we have at TCS, assisting them with material costs, and allowing them to display their work as a solo exhibition in our gallery during their residency.
Community Engagement
This past year we have hosted over 70 free events, not including the exhibitions, that serviced over 5,000 community members, a whopping 150% increase from our previous year! These events produced over 6,000 pieces of art that were returned to their creators after being fired by our studio technicians. We are proud to be able to provide these opportunities to our community members, returning the love and care they give to us!
