  We offer classes year round in handbuilding, wheel-throwing, casting and glazing, for people of all ages, from beginner to advanced. Our classes are taught by top practitioners.

Permanent Residency

On display at Goggleworks Art Center, Reading, PA

Residency programs are among the most integrative and immersive opportunities for art institutions to develop the respective work and careers of participating artists. Among the residencies available to artists internationally, The Clay Studio, Arrowmont, and The Center for Art in Wood host some of the most renowned programs in the U.S. with “alumni” that span generations of virtuosic artists and craftsmen. Permanent Residency will celebrate these seminal residency programs, which have yielded career-defining work and innovative artistic outcomes that echo throughout the craft field.
