Thisis the second year that The Studio has hosted
Our Community. This exhibition brings together theentire Clay Studio Community, representing the creative expression ofindividuals intimately involved with the organization as employee, trustee, faculty, Resident Artist, Associate, Work Exchange, or student. Though each is uniquein its mission and audience, all programs of The Clay Studio are highlighted, including: the Claymobile Outreach Program, the School, the Resident ArtistProgram, the Associate Program, and the Work Exchange Program. A jury ofindividuals, representing the previously mentioned programs selected the workson exhibit.
AtThe Clay Studio, incredible creative energy is housed under a singularroof. Our building serves us well in almost every way but one. Ourspace is on four separate floors of two historic buildings located side by.Each space on each floor is specific to one of the Studio's programs. Thoughthere are access points between the two buildings and between the four floors, program participants generally remain on \"their\" floor. In aneffort to showcase all of our parts and bring together the various individualswho contribute to the richness of the whole of our organization, Our Communitywas conceived.
