  We offer classes year round in handbuilding, wheel-throwing, casting and glazing, for people of all ages, from beginner to advanced. Our classes are taught by top practitioners.

Melissa Mytty: Slighty off Kilter

For this exhibition, Myttystill pinches all of the forms on exhibit, but instead of her trademark cups, bowlsare the focus, it one of a handful of forms she has been quietly exploring forthe past year or so. These bowls possess the same spirit andenergy of her earlier works, each a unique personality, their character definedthrough color, pattern, posture, stance. Her quirky and sometimes awkward formsreflect her masterful touch. Abrilliant and fearless colorist, Mytty’s surfaces grow out of her interests inhaute couture; Japanese fashion, hot rods, automotive design, tattoos, hip hopand contemporary culture.
