Jinsoo Song: Various Means of Preservation

Resident Artist Series

Aug 7th - Aug 30th, 2015

The very personal story of internal struggle, defiance, and pursuit of freedom is encapsulated and displayed unapologetically.  My work is influenced by Freudian psychology, especially the Death Drive, and exists somewhere between the personal and private spaces. I am sharing my life's story in the form of a cryptic visual diary and the things I create are the artifacts of that process.  Facing the unknown as I'm writing a new story through living, \"Embrace the mystery\" is my new mantra.
