David Eichelberger’s clay work exhibits a refined senseof design, with crisp forms executed thoughtfully and flawlessly. The surfaceof Eichelberger’s work is enhanced with quiet markings embodying a determinedprecision. Subtle variations in color and texture resulting from atmosphericfiring add another dimension. Eichelberger earned a BFA in Ceramics from VirginiaPolytechnic Institute and State University, an MFA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, followed by a three-year residency at the Penland School of Crafts."
