Artist Statement:
“My pots and pantry references offer a recollection on family and growth – a common narrative. One that speaks to a culture of “getting by.” The drawings dress up modestly glazed terracotta tableware. In turn the pots become placeholders for commemorative China in a lower to middle class cabinet.”
