The Clay Studio is excited to celebrate Community in Philadelphia’s South Kensington neighborhood, the future home of The Clay Studio. The evening kicks off with cocktails followed by a seated dinner and concludes with dessert and a performance by Philadelphia’s Bearded Ladies. We invite you to join us as we celebrate the potters, makers, and individuals that make Philadelphia a vibrant and creative community.

The Bearded Ladies Cabaret is a troupe of cabaret artists who fuse cabaret and theater to tackle the politics of gender, identity, and artistic invention with sparkle and wit. John Jarboe and Heath Allen of the Bearded Ladies Cabaret will bring their energetic and entertaining performance to our evening.
Proceeds from this event support The Clay Studio’s efforts to make artistic and creative opportunities possible for artists, students, families, and youth.

Enter to WIN an original teapot by ceramic artist Roberto Lugo!
In support of our fundraising efforts, ceramic artist Roberto Lugo has generously donated one of his original teapots. This teapot will be raffled off as part of our fundraising event on April 7th. Roberto is a native Philadelphian from the Kensington section of the city. His work is informed by traditional forms and issues of contemporary social justice. He is the recipient of the distinguished USA BARR Fellowship in Crafts and is represented by Wexler Gallery.
Raffle tickets are available at $25 each or five for $100. Interested in participating in the raffle but can’t come to the event? Not to worry – the winner need not be present!
