Classes & Workshops
The Clay Studio is dedicated to providing a unique learning environment in which to experience the ceramic arts. Our educational programs, lead by experienced teaching artists are open to all ages and abilities- from those who are new to clay, to experienced artists, or families and friends looking for a fun activity. Classes and workshops in wheel throwing, handbuilding and a range of special topics are designed to inspire students of all levels in a supportive and vibrant community.
New to Ceramics?
Here are a few terms to get you started:
- Wheel Throwing
- General Pottery
Create projects with your hands and basic tools. Learn techniques ranging from simple to complex, making both functional and sculptural forms.
Use the electric potter's wheel and spin a lump of clay into a vessel. Learn, improve, and master wheel throwing techniques for inspiring professional potters. If you don't want to commit to a class, try a Date Night or Let's Make workshop.
Intrigued by both hand building and wheel throwing? Try a General Pottery or Sampler class.
