The Clay Studio School strives to make itself accessible to students who are new to clay while offering compelling programming for its advanced students and the Philadelphia ceramics community at large. To do this, it employs an impressive array of experienced instructors, the majority of which hold their MFA in ceramics. TCS School maintains a solid base of traditional wheel throwing and handbuilding classes, yet it continually reinvents itself by offering "Specialty Classes" that keep up with current ceramic trends. These classes run the gamut from mold making to critical dialogues and are another way that The Clay Studio fulfills its mission of promoting broad access to the ceramic arts.
The Clay Studio offers classes in clay for the community year-round in four sessions: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. You may sign up as a member at the same time that you register and receive the members price.
