Development Director
The Clay Studio seeks a full-time Development Director. This position reports to the Executive Director, works closely with the Board and committees, and interacts with patrons, corporate executives and the philanthropic community.
Responsibilities and Duties: Research and develop grant proposals for foundations, corporate and government sources; develop sponsorship packages for local corporate community; administer comprehensive membership program, including the cultivation of major donors; oversee and manage active schedule of special events; manage annual fundraising campaigns; supervise Marketing / PR Coordinator.
Requirements: Undergraduate degree (graduate preferred) with at least three to five year’s experience as a successful development professional; excellent writing, organizational and communications skills; database, Microsoft Office, and basic HTML experience; ability to work effectively with volunteers and board members; and a background or strong interest in the arts.
